Sweet Potato Miso Latte

This Latte is the ultimate cozy-meets- umami energy boost. I’ts creamy, comforting, and surprisingly nourishing- made with roasted sweet potato, white miso, almond milk, warm spices, and espresso.

Whether you sip it hot or over ice, it’s a layered, feel good treat that hits all the right notes.


Ingredients

• 1 medium sweet potato (roasted + peeled)

• 1–2 tbsp white miso

• ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 2 dashes cinnamon (plus more for topping)

• Pinch of sea salt

• 1 double shot (or single shot) espresso

• Frothed milk of choice


Instructions

1. Roast the sweet potato:

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Roast the sweet potato for 40–50 minutes until tender. Let cool slightly, then peel.

2. Blend the base:

In a blender, combine the sweet potato, white miso, almond milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sea salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

3. Assemble the latte:

Spoon a few generous tablespoons of the sweet potato miso base into a glass or mug.

4. Add espresso:

Pour in your shot of espresso over the sweet potato mixture.

5. Top with frothy milk:

Add your choice of frothed milk.

6. Garnish:

Dust with cinnamon—or get playful with cacao or nutmeg.

7. Serve:

Stir to combine or sip layered for a full flavor experience. Enjoy hot or iced!
