Citrus & Apple Vermouth Sangria (Low-ABV)

Over the years, I’ve gone through phases where I just didn’t feel like drinking. Whether it’s focusing on my health, navigating the ups and downs of autoimmune flare-ups, or simply craving clarity and balance, I’ve found myself embracing lighter, more intentional choices. That’s why I’m so thrilled to see zero-proof and low-ABV beverages having their moment.

It’s exciting to see a shift in how we celebrate and connect—a reminder that it’s not the alcohol, but the flavors, the experience, and the company that matter most. This Low-ABV Citrus & Apple Vermouth Sangria is my answer to enjoying the celebration without going overboard.

Vermouth, with its subtle bitterness and herbal complexity, adds depth while keeping the drink light. Combined with fresh fruit, sparkling water, and just a touch of sweetness, this sangria is bright, refreshing, and perfect for sipping. It’s a reminder that you don’t need a heavy pour to create something that feels festive.

What I love most about this recipe is its versatility. It can easily transform into a completely zero-proof drink by swapping the vermouth for a non-alcoholic alternative or additional juice. Whether you’re celebrating a quiet evening at home or toasting with friends, this sangria is a beautiful way to raise a glass—on your terms.

If you’ve ever gone through a phase where you’ve opted out of drinking or simply wanted a lighter option, this recipe is for you. Cheers to embracing balance, enjoying vibrant flavors, and celebrating every moment—your way.
